Schedule
3:00-3:30PM    Student snack and homework time
3:30-5:00PM    Outdoor play* - free play, basketball, hopscotch etc. (option to play outdoors until 5PM)
4:30-5:00PM    Indoor play**, arts & crafts, games, reading, highlights for kids and many more

* We offer outdoor equipment for outdoor play such as balls (basketball & soccer) and four square, a bowling set, sidewalk chalk, jump ropes, magnifying glasses for outdoor observations, hula hoops and other equipment. Outdoor time begins at 3:30PM, we will stay outside until 5:00PM as long a group of children wish to play outdoors. During the winter months (daylight savings), all children will come inside when it gets dark.

**Indoor activities include board games, cards, play dough, painting, coloring, drawing, cars on the carpet, marine life animals, barn and farm animals, dinosaurs, making jewelry with beads, loops, beautiful play puppets, word games, dolls, play food, play money, Lincoln Logs, Legos and more.

Please note: If weather is inclement, we will arrange for children to do other activities or watch on occasion a video. Videos shown are age appropriate and mostly scholastic book stories enjoyed by both the library and their classrooms.

Program Name: Art Club

Brief of the program: Students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade will have the opportunity to create 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional projects in our afterschool art club. Projects will include drawing and painting to a theme as well as printmaking and sculpture and will be tailored for different learning levels.

Program Name: Yoga and Mindfulness

Brief of the program: Students in K-2 will learn yoga and mindfulness strategies with a certified yoga instructor and teacher. This program will teach students of all ages the art of stretching, breathing, and managing big emotions.
